10-Year-Old Zoe Unites With Stop & Shop To Help Cure Childhood Cancer

Ten-year-old Zoe of Glen Ridge Teams Up with Stop & Shop to Help Cure Childhood Cancer

Ten-year-old Zoe of Glen Ridge, NJ has been named as an ambassador for this year’s Stop & Shop Help Cure Childhood Cancer Campaign. Zoe has shown remarkable resilience in her battle against Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), a rare cancer of the skeletal muscle. Diagnosed in May 2020 amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoe's journey has been one of courage and determination.

Zoe is able to be a normal pre-teen -- hanging out with friends and doing gymnastics and arts and crafts. Like many girls her age, she is also a “Swiftie” and loves Taylor’s music. She is also a big fan of the Netflix show, “Alexa & Katie,” because she can relate to Alexa, a character who is coping with cancer.

The Help Cure Childhood Cancer initiative raises money to support pediatric cancer research at MSK Kids, the Pediatric Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where Zoe received her treatment. Over the past 23 years, nearly $30 million has been raised for MSK, and this year’s campaign will kick off on March 1st.
