On Sunday at 11 a.m., PSE&G issued the following update on statewide repair efforts:
“PSE&G crews will be working through the day to restore power to the remaining 2,300 customers affected by the storm’s damaging winds that brought down numerous trees, poles and power lines. The utility is estimating that virtually all customers affected by the nor’easter will be restored no later than midnight. Since the storm began, PSE&G has restored power to more than 150,000 customers.”
PSE&G added:
“Some customers who had their power restored may lose it for a period of time as workers take lines out of service so they can safely repair damaged equipment. PSE&G encourages customers to report downed wires and power outages by logging in to My Account on www.pseg.com, texting the word “OUT” to 4PSEG, or calling PSE&G’s Customer Service line at 1-800-436-PSEG.”
