2 Montclair Cars Stolen From Driveways, Had Keys Inside: Police
Montclair police say that thefts were reported on Hitchcock Place and Grove Street.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of Montclair residents reported that thieves stole their cars from out of their driveways earlier this month, police say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the owners left their keys in the vehicles in both instances.
The following incidents appeared in the Oct. 18 Montclair police blotter:

- 10-13-2016 (Hitchcock Place) - "Theft of a Toyota Camry from a residential driveway. The keys had been left in this unlocked vehicle. The vehicle also contained the victim’s purse."
- 10-14-2016 (Grove Street) - "Theft of a Land Rover Discovery from the driveway of a home. A spare key had been left in the unlocked vehicle."
