3 Kittens Dead, But 2 Survive Callous Abandonment At Montclair Animal Shelter
Survival stories often have elements of both tragedy and hope. Here's one from the Montclair Animal Shelter.

Montclair, NJ – Survival stories often have elements of both tragedy and hope.
On Tuesday, the Montclair Animal Shelter shared an update on the story of a pregnant cat found stuffed in a wooden donation box at the municipally run shelter.
“A few weeks ago, Marvella was abandoned in our wooden donation box, delivering five kittens in a frigid, dark and scary place. Due to the stress of this experience, three of the kittens didn’t make it. Also due to the stress, Marvella stopped producing milk and could not nurse her other kittens. The surviving kittens were given to another nursing mom who accepted them into her family as if they were her own.”
