Here’s what to expect, organizers said:

“This forum is an opportunity for community members to come together to discuss how we can continue strengthening the work of the board of education and build a model of service, collaboration, and effective governance that reflects the values of our community. Whether you are interested in running for the Board of Education this November or in the future, curious about how the board operates, or simply interested in engaging in meaningful conversation about our schools, we encourage you to attend.”

The event is open to all Montclair residents. Community members can also submit questions in advance online here.

“Strong schools require strong community partnership, and we believe conversations like these are essential as we continue building a board of education and school district our entire community can be proud of,” event organizers said.
