University Reproductive Associates proudly welcomes Adam J. Fechner, MD, to the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility team. Dr. Fechner is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship-trained in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Fechner attended Harvard University, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Fechner received his MD and completed his residency in OB/GYN from UMDNJ. Dr. Fechner completed an additional 3 years of subspecialty training in REI at UMDNJ, where he was trained in the techniques of assisted reproductive technology and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Fechner has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery to correct problems associated with infertility, menstrual disorders and pelvic pain. Dr. Fechner has been trained to operate with the da Vinci surgical robot and is currently offering robotic surgery to appropriate patients for the treatment of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic adhesions and ovarian cysts as well as for tubal reanastamosis following a previous sterilization procedure. Clinical interests of Dr. Fechner's include endometriosis, pelvic pain, in-vitro fertiization, annovulation/PCOS and hypothalamic amenorrhea. Dr. Fechner is pleased to join University Reproductive Associates and to be a part of the medical staff at HackensackUMC Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
