Seed Artists founder PHEEROAN AKLAFF, one of the pre-eminent drummers in modern jazz.
Vibraphonist/composer/educator CHRIS DINGMAN, a former student of Pheeroan's at Wesleyan University. Has worked extensively with Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter and is a leading light on the instrument.
LA-based saxophonist/composer and Cal Arts professor STEVE LEHMAN, one of the most important figures in contemporary jazz. A musician's musician and a composer of startling originality.
STOMU TAKEISHI, master of the fretless electric bass, whose many credits include Don Cherry, Henry Threadgill, Pat Metheny, Randy Brecker, and Butch Morris.
Expect creative music at the highest level.
