Appeal For Budget Bucks Continues At Montclair Council Meeting (Video)
Montclair's department heads continued their presentations to the council in advance of 2023 budget season.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — The latest appeal for budget bucks in 2023 continued at this week’s meeting of the Montclair Town Council.
The Montclair council kicked off its municipal budget season earlier this month, hearing presentations from several department heads, including the police department, the community services department, the public library, the health and human services department, the recreation and cultural affairs department, and the planning department. On Tuesday, the council continued with more presentations. This time, it included appeals from the town’s fire department, utilities (water/sewer), attorney’s office, human resources department, clerk’s office, finance department, IT department and manager’s office.
