Bellott, who is memorialized lovingly as “Tash” on social media, died in a single-car accident on I-95 North in Lower Makefield Township Sunday evening.
State police say speed is believed to be a factor in the accident, which happened around 7 p.m. just south of the Yardley-Newtown exit.
A Jeep Liberty carrying six young people who were traveling back to North Jersey from the audition at Temple University’s Liacouras Center crashed after authorities say it passed in the shoulder at a high rate of speed.
Three of the six occupants were ejected from the vehicle, which was being driven by a 17-year-old female, police said. The driver has not been identified.
Meanwhile, Bellott’s memory lives on for all to see through dozens of videos and photos shared by her friends on social media.
Her friends have started a hashtag, #justinfortash, with hopes that the famous singer will acknowledge the loss of his long-time fan.
