Business Moves in March
Although some businesses are closing their doors, many in town are simply moving to a fresh, new location.

Several businesses are making thier moves in March.
Piazza Della Sole just opened today in their new digs at 620 Valley Road in Upper Montclair. So far, no word about what's taking their place in their old Fairfield Ave location, but it looks like the posh layout in the new space is perfect for their extensive collection of shoes, boots, sandals, wallets, bags and accessories.
Also moving from Fairfield Avenue is Dot Reeder, although that move is just around the corner to the old Watchung Plaza Home site at 129 Watchung Ave. The awning is up and thier move is scheduled for a few weeks from now. Dot Reeder will be open in their current location seven days a week until thier move, so you can continue to find stylish picks from Pendleton, Tracy Reese, Clu, Steven Alan, Alexander Wang, Joes Jeans, R13, Blank Jeans, A.P.C., Only Hearts and more at the Fairfield store.

Laura Barker, owner of Dot Reeder, has plans for the Fairfield location, although it may be a while until she opens there. In the meantime, Barker says, "a pop-up store will probably go in for a while, there. I have to take this all in stages."
Vanity Salon is putting the final touches on their new space on Midland Ave (near Osteria Giotto) and plans on moving from their Valley Road location sometime this month. "It's been a long process, but we're almost ready to get in there," says co-owner Nicole Fitzgerald-Piccione, who, with her business partner Anthony Cimolo, has occupied the Valley Road space since 2004.
