Buzz Aldrin School In Montclair: Walk To School Day 2018

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Buzz Aldrin Middle School PTA will host a “Walk to School Day” effort on Wednesday, Oct. 10. (Learn more, see meet-up locations or sign up here)

According to a social media post from the PTA, it's members are trying something more "age-appropriate" for the middle school this year:

“We are looking for one parent volunteer and their Buzz Aldrin student, to be at each of the following corners, to welcome walkers with a piece of fruit, a smile and a hello. That's one parent and child per corner. The goal is to have at least one child present for the group meet so that no-one walks alone, and at least one parent to send them off (of course more parents are welcome. We encourage friends to walk together and include someone new.”
