Event Details
On Saturday April 18, from 10 to 11:30, the Essex Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey will celebrate spring by exploring South Mountain Reservation! On this guided walk with NPSNJ naturalists along the Aqua Trail of the Wildflower and Forest Preserve, we will identify trees and discover dainty early spring flowers, like spring beauties, trout lilies, and violets.
Meet at 10 Bear Lane, Millburn
The walk is free, there is no registration, just show up with your eye for beauty, love of nature, and kids, if applicable!
Children are most welcome, and will enjoy these cool little native plants.
But please leave pets at home.

We will walk about 1 mile round trip, on dirt trails that are mostly flat. Please come dressed for possibly muddy trails and the weather!
No registration required: we will have multiple guides and divide into groups.
