We will review how to taste and critically evaluate wine from visual assessment through aftertaste. For historical context, the course provides an overview of wine’s origins, its evolution, and the business aspects of winemaking. A solid foundation also includes guidance on appropriate tools for opening wine bottles, optimal storage, and serving temperatures to enhance your overall wine experience.&nbsp;
By the end of the 5-week class, you will have gained a deeper understanding of the many aspects of dry and sparkling wines so you are thoroughly conversant about wine and have tasted between 20 – 25 different wines from around the world!&nbsp;
