Cars Restaurant Offers Free ‘Potato Bites’ In Montclair, Ramsey

MONTCLAIR, NJ — To mark the release of a new menu item, CARS: Sandwiches & Shakes has a simple marketing plan: give them away for free.

On Thursday, May 3, CARS will be handing out free samples of their “Loaded Potato Bites” at their two locations in Montclair and Ramsey. The limit is “one free bite (a big one)” per customer. No purchase is necessary; in-store redemptions only. (Learn more here)

"We've had massive success with our Mac Bites, so we've been toying with a new item for a while in our test kitchen," Rich DiBenedetto, co-owner of CARS said. "After some trials and tribulations, we feel like we have something incredibly delicious."

The Loaded Potato Bites contain “fresh, never-frozen shredded potatoes, cheese sauce, scallions, and bacon.” They are deep-fried and served up hot, the restaurant stated.

"We've been testing for a while, but finally figured out the perfect bite," said co-owner AJ DiBenedetto. "These are currently our new favorite side and think they are going to do really well. We are excited to have our customers try them!"
