MONTCLAIR, NJ — There’s a lot to be said for the healing power of music.
Earlier this week, a pair of musicians from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) performed some classical favorites for inpatient units at Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, the hospital reported on social media.
The musicians – Xin Zhao (violin) and Lucy Crowin (viola) – were playing at the hospital as part of the Hackensack Meridian Health “Music and Wellness“ program, which aims to enrich the lives of New Jersey residents by promoting healing through music for patients, staff and caregivers.
