Essex County Trump Supporters Speak: 'He Deserves Our Respect'

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — We asked and you replied, Essex County… why do you support President Donald Trump? Last month, we issued a call for Essex County readers to send us their reasons why they think their neighbors should support the POTUS.

• “This president is working 24/7 to restore the Glory of America. We owe him our support and respect. Give him a chance.”

• “We must support President Trump! He was elected legally and deserves our respect. He is a man of action and means what he says. He has already shown in the infancy of his presidency that he wants to bring peace and prosperity to America.”

Adam Kraemer - Republican Candidate for Freeholder Essex County District Four

“Actually – I voted for Gary Johnson but I am supporting Trump in that he is the president.

“My general view is that government is too big. Government should maintain law and order and public safety and build and maintain public infrastructure and then stop doing other things. I support Donald Trump for reason of the view that American ‘peace thru strength’ makes the world a better place this is what won the Cold War.

“The repeal of the Affordable Care Act will make it easier for small business to hire locally. It will enable cooperative for small business that will improve quality care. Federal support of charter schools and school choice will end the government monopoly of school which cost Essex County in taxation and lesser quality education. I love immigration and immigration is a net good for our nation. However, wide-open unregulated borders don’t work. You can’t have open borders and a social safety net at the same time. You have to have law and order relative to immigration and immigration policies that protect us from those who would harm us physically and that protect our economic interest.”
