Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, stars of Bravo-TV’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” will lead a special holiday tasting of Levendi Wines at Stew Leonard’s Wines of Clifton on Friday, December 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The tasting is free to the public and bottles of each wine, ranging from $29.99 to $42.99, will be available for purchase.
The Greek toast "Levendi" acknowledges a hard day's labor and achievement. It celebrates the fields, the rain and the sun that nurture the grapes. Essentially, it's a toast "to celebrate life." - Stagecoach Vineyard Syrah ($29.99): From the Stagecoach Vineyard high on the eastern volcanic ridge above Napa, comes this rich and decadent, limited production Syrah. The vivid red soils and rocky slopes come together to produce a wine with an aroma of sweet blackberry and mountain sage
- Red Hen Chardonnay ($36.99): The Red Hen vineyard is located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, which consistently produces incredibly lush and concentrated Chardonnay grapes. The vineyard is planted on the Wente clone, which is well known producing for small berries, small clusters, and small yields, with a reputation for fruit forward focused wines of intensity and vigor.
