Al Cook, a local Montclair High School part-time science teacher and who also performs around New Jersey as a blues and Jazz singer and musician.
Black Lace Blues, is a 5-member a cross genre, cross generation Blues Rock and Reggae band, incorporating original material with contributions from everyone, as well as select quality covers that span a range of musical styles. Locally, Black Lace has performed at Trumpets Jazz Club, Park Sports Bar, Tierney's Tavern, Montclair Center Stage, Montclair Township’s annual ‘First Night’ event, and the Church Street Café.
