
Now that you have the turkey all figured out after last weekend's class, it's time for the side dishes! This 5-hour workshop with chef Scott Savokinas will cover traditional dishes like classic mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, two different versions of cranberry sauces, two types of stuffings/dressings (including the difference between stuffings and dressings), mulled cider and a variation of classic wassail. If you are getting tired of the same old side dishes, Chef Scott will also provide ideas for updating some classic sides as well as some make-ahead tips. All participants will be involved in the creation of the recipes prepared during the class, in order to get a real feel of how the dishes will be prepared in their own homes. Time-management tips will also be covered throughout the class in order to prepare participants for a stress-free Thanksgiving dinner! (participation class)
