Flash in the Pan - Easy & Fast Pasta Dishes with Arlene Ward

Open up the fridge door, what do you find? A little bit of this and that and a major amount of "useless" vegetables. It may not sound so good to you, but in all honesty, some of the best pasta dishes are created with just a few items. They're my "5 and 10 treasures" - 5 items in 10 minutes. The menu includes: Penne in Pink Velvet Clam Sauce; Linguine with Asparagus and Lemon Sauce; Penne with Green Beans, Prosciutto, Tomato and Sage; Farfalle with Artichokes, Puttanesca Style. (participation class) $65/person at Chef's Laboratory Cooking School.

Arlene Ward was the owner and instructor of Adventures In Cooking in Wayne, N.J. for 33 years.  Established in 1976 – 2009, Adventures In Cooking played a major part in cooking school development.  Ward worked as a food stylist for commercial photographers for 15 years. As director of AIC, she has taken students on guided tours to cooking schools in Italy and France.  She has appeared with Al Roker on his TV show "Roker On The Road" and has worked with cooking professionals including Guiliano Bugialli, Sarah Molton, Guiliano Hazan, Rick Rodgers, Rick Moonen and several local restaurateurs.  She is  co-author of  "Pressure Cooking For Everyone".
