‘Sisters on the Runway’

MONTCLAIR, NJ (April 2012)–Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa, New Jersey’s premier, award-winning, salon and spa, will host Montclair High School’s Sisters on the Runway fashion show  on Sunday, May 13th from 6:30-8:00 pm. This event, produced entirely by MHS students, is celebrating its 6^th year of supporting the Hackensack, NJ based Shelter Our Sisters for whom they have raised over $25,000.

The May 13^th fashion show is being held, for the second consecutive year, at Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa, 23 South Fullerton Ave., Montclair, NJ.  This much anticipated event will be an evening of fun, fashion, and food.  Guests will enjoy music, as well as a fashion show, with clothes donated by local boutiques.  Sisters on the Runway is a non-profit based in Montclair, NJ that focuses on raising awareness for victims of domestic violence.  Bangz Salon and Spa is known for its philanthropic work, under its umbrella entitled the Bangz Better World Foundation, which benefits charities in need in Northern NJ. This event is open to the public with tickets available for $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door.  

“At Bangz, we recognize the importance of strengthening the community around us,” said Israel Cronk, Manager of Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa.  “The Bangz Better World Foundation was established as a way for all of us at Bangz to get involved in charities and organizations that are important to us, our clients, and the surrounding community.”

Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa opened its door to the public in 1994, in the heart of the shopping and restaurant district in Montclair, New Jersey.
