Literary legends at 2025 Succeed2gether's Montclair Literary Festival

Get ready, book lovers — the Montclair Literary Festival is back, bringing a blockbuster lineup of literary icons and rising stars to town!

The festival runs from Saturday April 26 through to Monday May 3 with two full days of author events on Saturday April 26 and Saturday May 3. All panel events are free and open to the public.

For our festival finale on Monday, May 5 at 7pm, join Isabel Allende, the beloved author of 'Eva Luna' and 'The House of the Spirits', as she graces the stage at Temple Ner Tamid to talk about her new book 'My Name is Emilia Valle'.

The ninth annual Succeed2gether’s Montclair Literary Festival begins Saturday April 26 with over 15 FREE book talks from 10am. All events take place at Montclair State University. succeed2gether.org/april26-msu/

The festival continues during the week with Colum McCann talking about Twist on Monday April 28; Jean Hanff Korelitz, bestselling author of The Plot and The Latecomer, hosts a Spring book club luncheon on Tuesday April 29; Anne Berest and Claire Berest, the brilliant sister-duo, bring us another “true novel” in the same vein as The Postcard on Tuesday April 29; and Christian Allaire, Indigenous fashion writer for Vogue and author of From the Rez to the Runway will be at the Montclair Art Museum also on Tuesday April 29.

The New Yorker’s Susan Morrison will be talking about her book about SNL’s Lorne Michaels on Wednesday April 30, and for aspiring authors ready to make their move, Pitchapalooza is back on Thursday, May 1 at the Montclair Public Library — your one-minute, one-pitch chance to win over top publishing industry decision makers and take your big idea to the next level.

In addition to these ticketed events, the festival continues with another full day of events on Saturday May 3 in Downtown Montclair. All panel events are free and open to the public.
