Man Broke Into Montclair Home, Stole Sneakers: Police
Montclair police arrested an East Orange man after he allegedly stole sneakers and electronics from an Elm Street home.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police arrested an East Orange man after he allegedly stole sneakers and electronics from an Elm Street home last week, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a witness told officers that they saw a man later identified as Malik Alston, 23, of East Orange, carrying “numerous bags of sneakers and electronics” out of the home on Aug. 5.
Alston allegedly broke into the home to steal the items, police said.
