Man Says ‘Random’ Woman Pepper Sprayed Him In Montclair: Police
Montclair police got a report about a man running in and out of traffic. They arrived at the scene to find that he'd been pepper sprayed.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man says that a woman “randomly” pepper sprayed him in the face in Montclair last weekend, police announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to Bloomfield Avenue and Midland Avenue on Saturday after getting a report about a man who was “running in and out of traffic.”
The officers arrived on the scene to find a man, who told them that a woman pepper sprayed him in the face. The man told officers that the attack was “random.”

Police said the woman was last seen walking east on Bloomfield Avenue.
Saturday’s assault isn’t the only recent incident involving pepper spray in Montclair. In January, an argument over a parking spot ended with a person getting doused with pepper spray at the Maple Plaza parking lot.

In April, a man pepper sprayed another person in the parking lot of a local supermarket, then fled the scene in a waiting vehicle, police said.
