Man Struggles With Montclair Cops At Train Station: Police
Montclair police arrested a Middletown man after he allegedly harassed commuters near the Walnut Street Train Station, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police arrested a Middletown man last month after he allegedly harassed commuters at the Walnut Street Train Station, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to a report of an allegedly intoxicated man “harassing commuters” at the train station on Dec. 28. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Spencer Pitt, 56, who refused to comply with their orders.
Montclair police proceeded to arrest Pitt, who “punched and kicked” the officers before being placed under control, authorities said.

Authorities charged Pitt with disorderly persons, resisting arrest and aggravated assault on police.
