A new series of feature interviews may give undecided voters some extra insight ahead of the 2025 primary election in New Jersey.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Are you an undecided voter in New Jersey? A new series of feature interviews with the Democratic candidates for governor may be able to provide some additional insight ahead of the 2025 primary election.
The Montclair Democratic County Committee (MDCC) recently released a collection of interviews with the six candidates running as Democrats. The list includes:

- Josh Gottheimer (U.S. congress member) – watch the interview video here
- Mikie Sherrill (U.S. congress member) – watch the interview video here

Gov. Phil Murphy is term-limited and can’t run again in 2025. Over the past year, a large field of candidates have been jockeying for position to replace him.
Democratic and Republican candidates will face off for their party’s nomination in a primary election on June 10. The winners will advance to the general election on Nov. 4, which will also include any third-party or independent candidates.

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump announced that he is endorsing Jack Ciattarelli in the Republican race for New Jersey governor. Other GOP candidates include former radio host Bill Spadea, New Jersey Sen. Jon Bramnick, and former Englewood Cliffs mayor Mario Kranjac.
Third-party and independent candidates for governor include Stephen Zielinski (Green Party), Gerardo Cedrone (independent), Karen Zaletel (independent), and Joanne Kuniansky (independent).
