Montclair Authorities Search For ‘Threat’ At Animal Shelter Building: Report
Multiple emergency responders – including a bomb squad – were on scene, a report says.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police and fire crews responded to a possible “threat” to the Montclair Animal Shelter building on Friday afternoon, a report says.
The building at 77 North Willow Street is the home of the municipally run animal shelter, which is still recovering from a devastating fire on April 3 that caused heavy fire damage to the kennel area, extensive heat and smoke damage to the outside rear of the structure and smoke/water damage to the interior.

Multiple emergency responders – including a bomb squad – were on scene Friday, and Montclair Fire Department Deputy Chief Robert Duncan confirmed that authorities were searching the area for “potential threats,” TAP Into Montclair reported.
