Montclair Bar Opens Doors To Papa Roach Fans (PHOTOS)

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Dozens of supporters of Papa Roach got a chance to celebrate their love for the band and hobnob with other fans during a recent “pop-up event” at the Pharmacie Liquor Bar in Montclair.

The new bar and the Wellmont Theater hosted the event on March 27 to promote Papa Roach’s show at the Wellmont on Wednesday, April 11. (See ticket details here)

Fans ranged in age from 10-years-old to music lovers “well into their 70s,” according to the Pharmacie Liquor Bar.

Beth Lerner, who sported a Papa Roach-inspired tattoo and attended the pop-up event with three friends, said the band was her favorite.

“I travel all over to see them,” Lerner said. “So when we had the opportunity to check out the Pharmacie Liquor Bar in Montclair and celebrate Papa Roach, it wasn’t even a question.”

Executive chef and Nutley native Nick Griess said that based on the evening’s success, Pharmacie Liquor Bar would be happy to offer similar events in the future for other acts appearing at the Wellmont Theater.
