Montclair To Bloomfield Supermarket Shuttle Begins Saturday
Looking to get from the Montclair Pathmark to the Brookdale ShopRite in Bloomfield? Here's the township shuttle bus schedule.

Montclair Township will commence shuttle service from Lackawanna Plaza to Brookdale ShopRite in Bloomfield on Saturday, Dec. 5.
According to a release, township officials contracted with Montclair Senior Care to provide a special transportation service two days a week to residents who may have lost convenient access to a grocery store when the Pathmark supermarket shuttered its doors last month.

SATURDAY
- Shuttle LEAVES Pathmark from Bloomfield Avenue side of the parking lot promptly at: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 a.m. (last trip).
- Shuttle RETURNS from ShopRite to drop-off (Lackawanna Plaza) -- leaves promptly at: 9:45, 10:15, 10:45, and 11:45 a.m. (last trip)
TUESDAY

- Shuttle LEAVES Pathmark from Bloomfield Avenue side of the parking lot promptly at: 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30 p.m. (last trip)
- Shuttle RETURNS from ShopRite to drop-off (Lackawanna Plaza) -- leaves promptly at: 4:45, 5:15, 5:45, and 6:45 p.m. (last trip)
Cancelation information will be posted on the township website.
According to a release, the Senior Care buses are not handicap accessible. The township has made arrangements with the Essex County Special Transportation System to provide shuttles from Montclair to Brookdale ShopRite for people with disabilities and senior citizens.
Those who wish to avail themselves of the Essex County Special Transportation System service to Brookdale ShopRite should call the Montclair Health Department to register at 973-509-4970.
