Montclair Car Chase Ends In Crash, Arrests
A group of teens and a Newark man in two, allegedly stolen cars led local cops on a chase down Bloomfield Avenue.

A police car chase on Bloomfield Avenue on Aug. 25 ended in the arrests of several juveniles and a 20-year-old Newark man.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers were in pursuit of an allegedly stolen Dodge Caravan and Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Bloomfield Avenue when the Caravan crashed at the intersection of High Street and Bloomfield Avenue in Glenridge.
The Glen Ridge Police Department announced that they arrested the driver of that car – a 16-year-old male from East Orange – and turned him over to their Montclair counterparts.

Meanwhile, the Jeep continued into Bloomfield, where its driver and passengers abandoned it, Montclair police stated.
Soon afterwards, authorities located the car’s occupants, which included three juveniles and Alsherric Felder of Newark.
