Montclair Center's Sidewalk Sale Is Saturday

The Montclair Sidewalk Sale is coming up on Saturday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Rain date is June 10.)

According to the Montclair Center Business Improvement District (BID), the sale's catchphrase is: "It's Where the Sidewalk Meets the Sweet Deal!"

Come for the bargains, stay for the fun! Merchants will set up on the sidewalk throughout the district with deals and special introductions from both established and new businesses. There will be acrobats, stilt walkers, face painting, and more. Fun for the whole family!

BID Director Luther Flurry said it's been a busy period for Montclair Center, with nine businesses opening their doors.

"The new businesses are a mix of national, regional, and local," he said.

Those businesses are:

South Moon Under, 10 South Park Street

One Savvy Design, 74 Church Street

Bankers Cafe, 295 Bloomfield Avenue, will hold a Grand Opening Saturday at noon with music, balloons, and ice cream tastings throughout the Sidewalk Sale.

Muscle Maker Grill, 10 Park Street

Kei Kabob (has had a soft opening and is open for lunch), 401 Bloomfield Avenue

Uptowne Girl Salon, 12 North Willow Street

Sprint, 460 Bloomfield Avenue

Family Financial Management Practice, 631 Bloomfield Avenue

Shakil’s School of Martial Arts (not a new business but a new location on Bloomfield), 360 Bloomfield Avenue
