Man In Sweatshirt Steals Van From Montclair Church Lot: Police

A man in a hooded sweatshirt allegedly entered a Montclair church, took a set of keys and stole a van from the parking lot.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man in a hooded sweatshirt allegedly entered a Montclair church, took a set of keys and stole a van from the parking lot earlier this week, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the theft took place at a church on South Fullerton Avenue on Monday. The suspect was seen fleeing east on Union Street, authorities said.

Police described the suspect as a white male from 25 to 35-years-old with dark hair, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with red accents, black pants and white sneakers. No additional information was immediately available.
