Montclair Convenience Store Robbed At Knifepoint; Cops Seek Suspect (PHOTOS)
Montclair police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a local convenience store at knifepoint.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a local convenience store at knifepoint on Wednesday, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a man entered the Grove Convenience Store at 12:28 p.m. and leaned over the counter, removing cash from the register. The suspect then brandished what witnesses believed to be a knife and threatened to stab a store employee if he attempted to intervene.
The man then fled the store, got into an older-model, blue vehicle, and headed eastbound on Oxford Street, police said.

Nobody suffered injury during the encounter, police said.
Police said the suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet 5 inches with a light complexion and cross eyes, a thin build, and a short haircut with a goatee. He was reportedly wearing a gray, zip-down, hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans. [See below photos]
