Montclair Cops: 3 Garage Burglaries Reported In 2 Days, Bikes Stolen

Two of the burglaries took place on Howe Avenue and another took place on Pleasant Avenue, Montclair police say.

Montclair, NJ – Three garage burglaries were reported in town last week, according to the Montclair Police Department.

Two of the burglaries took place on Howe Avenue; another took place on Pleasant Avenue.

  • 2-20-2016 (Howe Avenue) - Burglary to a residential garage. Entry was gained by damaging a side entry door. A bicycle was stolen in this incident.
  • 2-20-2016 (Howe Avenue) - Burglary to a garden shed. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. A bicycle was stolen in this incident.
  • 2-21-2016 (Pleasant Avenue) - Burglary to a garage. Entry was gained by damaging a lock. A bicycle was taken.
