Montclair Cops Arrest East Orange Man After Finding Him In Church
Montclair police say the 38-year-old was wanted in connection with alleged thefts from the Salvation Army and a local business.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police arrested an East Orange man wanted on multiple warrants for alleged thefts in town last week, including a pair of incidents at a local church and business, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers found Omar Williams, 38, of East Orange, in the basement of St. Luke’s Church on South Fullerton Avenue on April 3.
Police charged Williams with defiant trespass and possession of CDS paraphernalia in connection with the incident, authorities stated.

At the time of his arrest, Williams had an open warrant in connection with the theft of a laptop computer from the Salvation Army on Trinity Place on March 23, as well as the theft of a tip jar from Studio Groomers on North Fullerton Avenue on March 30, police said.
