Montclair officers found multiple bullet holes in an Orange Road residence, authorities say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police are conducting an investigation after officers found bullet holes in an Orange Road residence Wednesday, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a 64-year-old Orange Road resident told officers that a projectile that may have been a bullet struck his arm during the overnight hours, causing a small welt but no blood.
Officers found bullet holes in the siding of the house and the front window of the home, authorities said.

Montclair police had responded to the area of Grenada Place around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning on a report of possible shots fired, but didn’t find any evidence of a shooting after checking neighborhood homes, authorities said.
