Montclair Cops Find 'Trespassers,' Fake Gun At High School
Police arrested multiple trespassers at Montclair HS, finding a "fake firearm" and a "large knife" in their possession, authorities say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Police arrested multiple trespassers at Montclair High School on Monday, finding a “fake firearm” and a “large knife” in their possession. The arrested suspects are residents of Newark, Belleville and Orange, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to MHS after receiving a report about people trespassing on school property. On arrival, the officers saw the suspects enter two vehicles that were parked nearby.
The officers approached the cars and found a “fake firearm” inside one of the vehicles. Officers also found a “large knife” in one of the alleged trespassers’ possession, authorities said.

Montclair police charged Dovon Williams, 21, of Orange, with unlawful possession of a weapon.
Police arrested Almajid Johnson, 22, of Newark, on open warrants out of Newark, Plainfield and Burlington.

Montclair police charged Joshua Alcantara, 25, of Belleville, and a 16-year-old female and a 17-year-old male from Newark with defiant trespass.
