Montclair Council Will Tackle Lackawanna Plaza Plan On Tuesday
Will one of Montclair's most-discussed real estate projects – Lackawanna Plaza – move on to its next phase of approval?

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Should one of Montclair’s most-discussed development projects – Lackawanna Plaza – move on to its next phase of approval? That will be the question put before the Montclair Town Council on Tuesday.
The council is scheduled to take a vote at their meeting on Dec. 6 that would advance the current version of the Lackawanna Plaza redevelopment plan under its new owner, BDP Holdings. If the council passes the ordinance, it would send the proposal to the Montclair Planning Board for further review and set up a possible final council vote. In addition, the Montclair Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to hear a presentation on the plan on Dec. 15.
