Montclair Group Offers Bus Trip To 2018 Women’s March

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair-based nonprofit BlueWaveNJ is organizing a bus trip to the 2018 Women’s March in Morristown on Saturday, Jan. 20. The rally will help to mobilize women across New Jersey to “bring power to the polls” this November, organizers say.

According to a BlueWaveNJ email, the group anticipates that “thousands of people” will attend the march, making getting into Morristown and parking a challenge.

The BlueWaveNJ bus to the Jan. 20 rally will leave Montclair at 9 a.m., and then leave Morristown at the end of the march. Tickets are $15 and the bus will go directly to and from Morristown. The pickup and drop off location will be outside Montclair High School on Midland Avenue on the corner of Midland and Chestnut. Learn more and purchase tickets here.

For those who can’t make it to the march – but still want to show their support - on Monday, Jan. 15, BlueWaveNJ will host a poster-making party at Bass Arts Studio, 202 Park Street in Montclair to create signs for the 2018 Women's March. Sessions are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free but space is limited so RSVP is requested. Learn more or RSVP here.

“We will provide the poster making materials so all you need to bring is yourself and your creative drive,” BlueWaveNJ stated.
