Montclair Historical Society Turns 50
The organization will celebrate its 50th year on Thursday at the Montclair Public Library.
The Montclair Historical Society is fast becoming a historical institution in itself.
On Thursday, Aug. 20, at7 p.m., the historical society will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Ave.
MHS Executive Director Jane Eliasof will speak about the founding of the organization, as well as its mission of promoting the preservation, study and appreciation of local history.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Registration is recommended.
