Montclair Man Refuses To Leave Dunkin’ Donuts Bathroom: Police
Police found suspected heroin and a syringe in the Montclair resident's possession, authorities say.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Bloomfield police arrested a Montclair man for heroin possession earlier this month after he allegedly refused to leave the bathroom of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Belleville Avenue, authorities say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the restaurant around 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 on a report of a person refusing to leave the bathroom. On arrival, a Bloomfield officer was able to gain entry to the bathroom, finding a 30-year-old male from Montclair inside.
The man then allegedly attempted to drop several empty glassine envelopes into the toilet, authorities say. After searching him, the officer found the man in possession of a hypodermic needle and 10 glassine envelopes containing suspected heroin.
