Man Walks Out Of Montclair Store With $3750 Bike: Police
Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly hopped on a $3,750 bicycle in a Montclair shop and rode away, police say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly hopped on a $3,750 bicycle in a Montclair shop last week and rode away, police say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the theft allegedly took place when a man walked into Diamond Cycle on Bloomfield Avenue on March 8. The man – who appeared at first to be shopping – then got on a bike that was awaiting repair and rode it out of the store through the rear exit.
The 2014 Cannondale Scalpel black and yellow bicycle was valued at $3,750, police said.

Police described the suspect as a tall black male about 25-years-old, with a thin build and long hair, wearing sunglasses on his head, blue jeans with white stitching along the rear pockets, gray sneakers, fingerless gloves, and a black-hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the back that said "Ain't No Talk.”
