Montclair Man Was Among Group That Attacked Victim: Police

Montclair police charged a local man with aggravated assault after he and others allegedly assaulted a 47-year-old man on Pine Street.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police charged a local man with aggravated assault and conspiracy after he and other suspects allegedly assaulted a 47-year-old man on Pine Street last week.

According to the Montclair Police Department, officers arrested Justin Davis, 21, of Montclair, after he and a group of unidentified suspects assaulted the 47-year-old victim on Oct. 13.

Emergency responders transported the victim to Mountainside Hospital where he was treated for a head injury, police said.
