Sean Spiller: "Opening our arms to these brave Afghan refugees is a simple choice. Our values demand nothing less."

On Wednesday, Sean Spiller said the town is ready to do its part and welcome people fleeing Afghanistan, as the nation continues to see massive upheaval from a return to Taliban control.

“Leaving one’s homeland is a decision that no one makes lightly,” Spiller said. “The events of the last few weeks have forced thousands of Afghans to make that difficult choice.”
