Montclair Police Blotter: Burglary, Car Theft Arrests / Stolen Packages / Hubcap Theft / DWI

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Montclair police blotter, a listing of selected reports that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

5-10-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - Theft of packages delivered to a business. Responding patrol units were successful in locating the stolen packages, discarded in the area. Nothing was missing from these boxes.

5-11-2016 (Nishuane Road) - Theft of hubcaps from a Chevy Tahoe, parked in a driveway.

5-12-2016 (South Fullerton Avenue) - Willie Brown, 57yoa from Montclair, was arrested on active warrants resulting from a burglary investigation. Brown was charged with burglary and theft and was assigned a $5,000 bail.

5-13-2016 (Lexington Avenue) - Michael Emanuel, 22yoa from Montclair, was arrested as a result of an investigation and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

5-14-2016 (Upper Mountain Avenue) - A 59-year-old female from Montclair was arrested and charged with DWI.
