Montclair Police Blotter: DWI Arrests / Stolen Nissan Rogue Recovered / $10,000 Warrant / Car Thefts

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are reprinted directly from the Montclair police blotter, a listing of selected reports that may not include the full scope of activity in the area. All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

1-12-2016 (Park Street) - Theft of a bicycle from a detached garage. The garage was unlocked at the time of the incident.

1-13-2016 (South Mountain Avenue) - Theft from a motor vehicle parked in a residential driveway. Personal documents were taken in this incident.

1-13-2016 (Valley Road) - Keith Wild, 53yoa from Jackson, was arrested and charged with DWI.

1-14-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - Devine Crute, 21yoa from Newark, was arrested on open warrants out of Montclair ($500), Newark ($10,000) and Glen Ridge ($375).

1-15-2016 (Valley Road) - Luis Azanza, 42yoa from Newark, was arrested and charged with DWI.

1-15-2016 (Mission Street) - Timere Payne, 18yoa from Montclair, was arrested on open warrants from this jurisdiction, totaling $1,900.

1-17-2016 (Grove Street) - Theft of a 2014 Nissan Rogue from a residential driveway. This vehicle was located later that date on Chester Road in town. It was parked and unoccupied at the time of recovery.

1-17-2016 (Essex Avenue) - Theft from an unlocked motor vehicle. A jacket was taken in this incident.

1-19-2016 (Valley Road) - Alba Reyes, 38yoa from Belleville, was arrested and charged with DWI.
