Montclair Police Blotter: Feb. 23 to 27

All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

2-23-2016 (Greenwood Avenue) - A 24yoa man from Montclair was arrested on an open $500 warrant out of Basking Ridge.

2-23-2016 (Zeus Auto, Watchung Avenue) - Theft of cash from the gas attendant booth. Access was gained by breaking a window.

2-24-2016 (South Fullerton Avenue) - Burglary to a commercial office. Entry was gained by damaging a door. Cash was taken in this incident.

2-25-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - Theft of construction equipment from a worksite. A roll of welding wire and welder were taken.

2-25-2016 (Claremont Avenue) - Theft of a handicapped placard from an unlocked vehicle.

2-27-2016 (Porter Place) - Burglary to a residential garage. Nothing was taken in this incident. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

2-27-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - A 34yoa man from Montclair was arrested and charged with Disorderly Persons for being intoxicated and causing a disturbance.

2-27-2016 (South Fullerton Avenue) - A 45yoa man from Montclair was arrested on open warrants out of Montclair ($1,000) and Parsippany (no bail)
