Montclair Police Blotter: June 17 to 20

All of the following incidents are accusations, and all suspects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
6-17-2016 (Midland Avenue) - A vehicle parked in a residential driveway had its two front tires slashed.
6-17-2016 (Soho Pizza, Valley Road) - A burglary occurred sometime overnight. Access was gained through an unlocked window. Petty cash was taken.

6-17-2016 (Whole Foods, Bloomfield Avenue) - Theft of a wallet from a patrons shopping cart while inside the store.
6-17-2016 (North Fullerton Avenue) - Burglary to an apartment. Access was gained by prying open an entrance door. Jewelry and a computer were taken in this incident.

6-20-2016 (Merit Liquors, Bloomfield Avenue) - Shoplifting of alcoholic beverages. The suspect is described as a female in her early 20's, approximately 5 feet 2 inches and 120 pounds wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt.
6-20-2016 (Friendly Stationary, Watchung Avenue) - Theft of two bundles of newspapers which had been delivered overnight.
6-20-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) - A 60-year-old Newark man was arrested for open warrants out of Newark totaling $7,915. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop.
