Montclair Police Charge Orange Man, Teen With Burglary

The man and his teenage accomplice were allegedly seen attempting to break into vehicles on Nishaune Road, Montclair police say.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police charged a 25-year-old Orange man and a 17-year-old Orange juvenile with burglary after they allegedly tried to break into multiple vehicles in the Nishaune Road area last month.

According to the Montclair Police Department, Nahime Gilmore and his teenage accomplice were allegedly seen attempting to break into vehicles in the area on Nov. 19.

Authorities said that the two allegedly fled the scene in a silver 2011 Nissan Altima towards Orange, but were apprehended “minutes later” by Orange police officers who located the car, which also contained another passenger at the time.

Montclair police charged Gilmore and the juvenile with burglary for their alleged involvement in the incident on Nishuane Road.
