Montclair Police To Host 'Coffee With A Cop'

The public can meet with local officers in a "no crisis" environment during the free events.

The Montclair Police Department’s Community Service Unit (CSU) will continue its “Coffee With A Cop” program at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at BonJour Montclair Café and Creperie, 254 Park St.

According to a release, the program strives to form partnerships between the police department and Montclair’s residents and businesses. During the event, residents can interact with police officers, ask them questions or just say hello.

“All too often, the community only interacts with the police in times of crisis,” the release stated. “The idea behind Coffee With A Cop is to afford the public an opportunity to meet and speak with their local law enforcement professionals in an open and friendly atmosphere.”
